Silica (Silicon dioxide) – SiO2 x H2O The salt for Hair, Nails and Skin Silica is a component of the connective tissues, epidermis, mucous membranes, hair, nails, bones and nerves. Lungs, lymph glands and suprarenal gland contain a high amount of Silica. Silicea helps to maintain the elasticity and firmness of hair and nails. It is indicated e.g. in case of brittle hair and nails, hair loss or irregular nail growth. Silicea strengthens the skin and connective tissues by enhancing the elasticity. Where It Works : Against suppuration of the skin, boils and fistulas; for the treatment of rheumatic joint diseases (gout), arthritis, disorders of the vertebral disc, bone loss (osteoporosis); against disturbance of bone growth, shin splints, tendonitis, hardening of the arteries, excessive sweating, signs of premature ageing (such as facial wrinkles); for the treatment of bruises, kidney gravel, brittle hair and nails, also hair loss, irregular nail growth, whitlow, acne. Visual Analysis : In General: excessive and premature wrinkling, loose skin and signs of premature ageing; the patient displays a heightened tendency to sweat, especially around the head and neck; also foul-smelling, sweaty feet. The skin is thin and translucent. Dry, brittle hair and nails. In some cases lack or poor distribution of this salt may lead to poor posture and even curvature of the spine (scoliosis), since the bones develop poorly; taut, shiny skin around the shins; the eyes are very sensitive to light. Face: loose, wrinkled skin, but also “face-lift skin” (it looks as though it’s been pulled back tightly) and “crow’s feet”, the skin appears glassy and translucent; wrinkles near the ears. Tongue: brownish, slimy coating; the tongue may be dry, which worsens during the morning hours; there may also be a soapy taste in the mouth. Dosage & how to take: Infants: one tablet (dissolved into a mash with a small amount of water and applied on the lips) once or twice a day. Children aged 2 to 8: 2 tablet two to three times a day. Children aged 9 to 13: 3 tablet three times a day. Adults: 4 tablets three to four times a day. Children and adults keep the tablets in the mouth until they have dissolved. This allows the active ingredient to be completely absorbed by the mucus membranes of the mouth, which is very important and is part of the healing plan.

Visual Analysis : In General: the skin is greasy and blemished; greasy hair; greasy sweat; the patient’s eyeglasses are constantly greasy. The lymph nodes of the underarms and throat may be swollen (soft); in small children, “soapy” stools (they look as though smeared with a white, soapy solution); on the outer ears, small nodules up to pea size, an indication of gout. Face: fatty shine, as though rubbed with animal fat; greasy sweat. Tongue: moist, grey-white thick coating; sour or bitter taste. Dosage & how to take: Infants: one tablet (dissolved into a mash with a small amount of water and applied on the lips) once or twice a day. Children aged 2 to 8: 2 tablet two to three times a day. Natr. Mur (Sodium Chloride – table salt) – NaCl The salt for Fluids Balance It is found in all tissues and body fluids. It regulates the balance of fluid in the body’s cells, and is important for the division of cells (i.e. formation of new cells) and the production of gastric juices. The renewal of cells including red blood cells does not take place without Sodium Chloride. It is necessary for the all-around functioning of nerves and muscles. It is indicated in gastrointestinal complaints like diarrhoea and vomiting. Where It Works : Against dry skin and mucous membranes (recognized by dry eyes); watery to oily diarrhoea, constipation, gastric catarrh with watery vomit; watery, runny nose (chronic or acute), sudden watering of the eyes (e.g. in the wind); swelling (oedema) arising from different causes, such as insect bites; toothache with flow of saliva; skin rash with small blisters containing watery fluid (such as herpes); depression with weeping spells; general weakness and loss of strength; rheumatic complaints. Supports clinical treatment for frequent diarrhoea or frequent vomiting. Visual Analysis : In General: eyes that water in the wind; dry skin, dry conjunctiva. The patient appears bloated; a tendency to “orange-peel” skin (cellulite). Face: the skin has a dull, gelatinous sheen; the eyes appear watery; greasy line on the lids (greasy lower eyelid, as though smeared with fat), especially noticeable when the eyes look up; runny nose, nose and forehead damp and glistening. Tongue: clean, with slimy streaks (as though a snail has crawled over it); occasionally the saliva is foamy, especially on the rim of the tongue; damp tongue, also abundant saliva which has an effect on pronunciation; now and then a salty taste in the mouth. Dosage & how to take: Infants:one tablet (dissolved into a mash with a small amount of water and applied on the lips) once or twice a day. Children aged 2 to 8:2 tablet two to three times a day. Children aged 9 to 13:3 tablet three times a day. Adults:4 tablets three to four times a day. Children and adults keep the tablets in the mouth until they have dissolved. This allows the active ingredient to be completely absorbed by the mucus membranes of the mouth, which is very important and is part of the healing plan.
