Mullein Oil Homoeopathic Medicine Compositions 100 mg contain: Succus Verbascum densiflorum 50 mg; Excipients Q.S. to 100 mg. Ethanol 15.5% (V/V). Indications Traditionally used in the treatment of earache; including incipient otitis media; hardened cerumen (wax) plugs and upper airway infections. Dosage Mullein Oil Schwabe can be administered both orally and locally. Internal Use: Unless otherwise prescribed, adults take 10 to 15 drops several times a day, children should receive not more than 5 to 10 drops several times a day. External Use: Unless otherwise prescribed, a wad moistened with the undiluted preparation to be placed into the ear canal (auditory meatus). As soon as an improvement is felt, reduce frequency of use. Warnings This medicinal product contains ethanol.The intake of larger amounts of this medicinal preparation may cause acute ethanol intoxication, in particular in small children.
